"At times so self destructive
With no intent or motive
But behind this emotion,
There lies a sensible heart"
I grew up the first 10 years of my life in a small desert town in southern New Mexico, where snake rattles and howling coyotes were the soundtrack to my sleep. I built forts, climbed trees, had dirt clod wars, typical stuff.
I grew up the next 10 years of my life zipping between Longmont, Boulder, and Denver, Colorado. The nights were a bit more calm. I played sports, went sledding, climbed trees, had snow ball fights, typical stuff.
Now I'm 22. I love music, hiking, socializing, dreaming, and always trying to make my tomorrow's better than my yesterday's.
Everything you see here, typical me.
"That’s always seemed so ridiculous to me, that people want to be around someone because they’re pretty. It’s like picking your breakfeast cereals based on color instead of taste."
"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’ You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
